Kilpatrick’s masqueBAR team held a product reveal and brand showcase event for 50 press and influencers. A suite at Hotel Café Royal overlooking Piccadilly Circus was chosen as the venue to launch 10 new and exciting products from the popular Korean face mask brand. Each room was beautifully styled to optimise social engagement and represent a different range within the masqueBAR portfolio. The marble bathroom featured a stunning bathtub which the team filled with metallic balls to complement the metallic mask range. The bed in the bedroom was covered with plush animals and jungle print for the Pretty Animalz sheet mask range and provided a great photo opportunity.
The event was drop-in style with one session in the morning and another in the evening. Press enjoyed breakfast from 8-10am with food chosen to mirror ingredients within the products such as avocado on charcoal toast and ginger and turmeric or charcoal and lime juice shots. Throughout the evening influencers were served Korean inspired canapes, cocktails and fizz from 5-8pm. masqueBAR’s Founder Allan Lever flew in from Toronto especially for the event and gave his expert insight on Korean beauty trends and all of the exciting things in the pipeline for the company.
Continuing with the Korean theme, an animé artist drew digital caricatures on an iPad for guests to take home – printed with masqueBAR branding. A face reader was also present at the event revealing to guests what their face says about them and recommending what face masks might be best for their skin.
The day was a great success. 50 attendees created 135 posts on the day with a reach of 3,063,126 and many pieces of print coverage are in the pipeline.
